I feel, this would be a great idea to go on with the meet. I feel lets get in touch with CCD people, and have them make arrangements for Bloggers Meet!! We can share views, and have fun there. What say? We guys, are in. We have recently started a Bloggers Club in a school in chandigarh, and we seeing what the response is going to be like. Loads of kids are showing interest!!

@ gaurav : Dude!! i am expecting around 50 ppl to join on..but this i possible only if we the early birds spread the word to masses As soon as possible...So now for 50 ppl wat u say??

We can have a wikipage about the meet and ask the avid bloggers to spread the word around.The Idea is great. Something like this would be happenin in punjab... sounds gr8.!! :) i also might fly in ;)

This is Sameer Relan here. Gaurav, We can also organist the event in the school. I can talk to the management. We can also have the students gain a lot from it, and we can give them tips on blogging. I will surely do that.I don't think the date seems appropriate to me considering the best bloggers(or most of them) r in collges and the colleges r due to start in mid july.Man of my frnds won't be able to come coz of the date.I myself hv to come specially fr that. Can it be postponed.We migght recieve a larger response.

Hi Gaurav! This is a gr8 idea to have a bloggers meet. Although blogging is spreading quite faster among ppl, yet this meet will help more in spreading a word about it in chd region. Whts the agenda of meeting n r u gonna invite some popular bloggers too?

Well , will the venue and time of the meet be announced ? And I would also like to propose to all the bloggers an established system of mutual cooperation. The system can be a big corporation with small units of 5 opening e-magazines or independent bloggers calling in for guest posts and mutual promotion. Business wil get a lot more easier this way. And blogs will not be merely b-grade sites but top quality works.

The interface and setup can be developed by and anyone wanting to volunteer on the programming and designing part. BENEFIT: Quality will be upgraded. No need of searching for free themes and technical stuff . Everything will be made and managed in the community. Idea inspired from Infosys's infrastructure and wikipedia's non-profit growth. @ all As we have only 12 sign ups for the meet so we not gonna get any support from our sponsors as they wanted minimum of 50 ppl to attend. So this meet gonna be a contributory one. And It will be an inaugural meet of Chandigarh Blogger Bloc...We are going to discuss on some blogging issues and plans for next blogger meet on bigger scale. I want some help in getting the place to meet...im not familiar with Chandigarh much..so please help in arranging the place/venue.
