Looking for feedback on my blog

Hi Megha,

Let me start by saying I'm new here too and I have also put my blog up for a review. I thought since it's been so quiet I'd review other peoples blogs too, and help out if possible.

I think your blog is neat and clean. It makes for easy reading. Also you don't have too much clutter, which is nice. Your photographs are great too!

My suggestions would be to, 

a) improve upon the post background colour. The gray is very dull and I think white or even a slightly brighter colour (or alternatively a lighter gray) would work wonders for you. 

b) I love the idea of the collage in your header. I love collages too, and I use picasa to create mine. Try doing that and see how it turns out. It's free and it has a very sophisticated finish. I'll be happy to help if you've any questions. Try playing with fonts and seeing how it turns out too, your blog title font and your collage should compliment one another.

Love your writing style, it's simple and easy to read.

Hey thanks Riya. That was very nice of you to take the time to go through my blog. I didn't really think anyone was going to do that!

I think you have a good point with the post background colour. I will see how I can improve upon it.

As for the picture in my header, yes....I was not very happy with it right from the start. I have just started taking good quality photographs in my recipes section and I was thinking of updating the header photo with new photographs and a better style of collage. Yeah I use picasa to make collages too. The movie collage that I currently have in my blog was made with that.

I will go through your blog and get back to you.

You have great pics of your food on the blog. I think the trick is to find the right number of pics to put up in a collage.
