That particular poem on Jhans Ki Rani was a favourite with my group of friends. It was a part of our course in Hindi in high school. We were not very crazy about Hindi. We needed a lot of pushing and dictations from a certain dedicated Hindi teacher (Thank You Miss Kaushik), in an Anglo Indian School, for our Hindi to be up to the mark and more by the time boards arrived.

I am rambling cause the poem got me nostalgic. I knew it by heart then and do now again thanks to you!

Right choco...I knew it byheart in school...that was the poem we sang for every Hindi pakwada even...

Believe me I had spent around 40 min to find the poem on net found it,copied it in a folder ..read it and wonder what we can do for our country...
