Please review my travel blog about visiting Europe

This blog is about directing Indians around Europe like no guidebook can. First of all, it focusses on the Indian traveller, writing travel keeping in mind their cultural references, travel habits, food and cultural quirks. And second, it is more than about destinations. It is about organising your travel: about transport links, public transport, finding the right accommodation, food and shopping, and visa hassles. I look forward to a review by Indiblogger members.

Hey, I just went through your blog. Good work! It is very nice to have a blog keeping Indian mentalities in mind and I am sure you will find your niche. (There are 1.2 Billion of us now after all :P)

There was one thing which you could do, make a categoriwise drop down menu for countries so that it is easier for people to find country specific info. Also how about giving users infomation on packages? As in if someone has 15 days in Europe, what are the possible countries one can visit and how many days to spend at each place? This will help those who are planning to make a trip on their own!

Once again, a GREAT INITIATIVE! :)

Hey thanks. I agree with your suggestions and already working on a new design that gives more flexibility to the reader.

Do you want to write a piece about skydiving - how you did it, how much time it took, how much it cost, what preparations went into it and would you recommend it to other Indians.

Good Chetna, your site is unique and definately useful for directing Indians around Europe.

It's a great concept and a great theme for your website.

Pictures and content are interesting. Very informative.

Keep it up, i will share with my friends and colleagues.

Hi Ishita,

Thanks. I liked your site too. It gives a lot of basic information about investments that many people out there must be looking for. I know that my father is looking for such information and I'll send the site to him. And the search engine works well, which is important for websites like yours and mine.

Is it a professional or a personal venture? It looks like a professional venture to me.

chetna..

I try to do post as well on some of the wonderful places I have traveled. though never meticulously and never with the thought of providing information. I for one also know how informative it is as that is some thing I always do ..search for blog posts on the places I am planing to travel. :)

I second adhokshaj. have the posts indexed. so it makes it easier to pick the intended place/country. I would also suggest add pictures to every post. that definitely is more attractive than any catchy title or content. hope to read more of your travelogues.

Hi Rajee,

Thanks for the response. I am actually working on changing the whole design to make it more user- friendly. I agree that at the moment it is difficult to find articles.

Hey, I checked out your blog too. I tried finding any recent articles on travel, but couldn't. We are always looking for travel bloggers - you can write for our site, and we could link the article to your blog and drive traffic there.

You live in Munich, so it would be great to connect.

Had a look at your site. That's a nice blog to guide people. It is actually in a guidebook form and a little with a commercial touch to it.

Different, I must say. :)

I loved your blog. It's great, it's niche and it's very well done. One teensy complaint though. I wanted to comment on your post 'Visiting Paris: How not to order raw beef for lunch!' but couldn't figure out how to, and found it rather off-putting. Maybe you could make it easier to post comments?

Hi Nivedita,

Thanks for the feedback. I have never had that complain before. I a widget for the comment section. A comment section appears below the article and you don't even have to register to leave a comment. What problem did you encounter?

Worried and curious
