Even I wish this wasnt limited to one person or atleast the prizes were transferable but then am not very lucky with the grand prizes anyways!  The theme is pretty intersting and those coupons look mighty tempting too!

I am just eligible to participate regarding the age criteria but is it limited only to travel bloggers as the first line in the Terms and Consitions says ia where travel bloggers will submit stories

The last date for submission is 29th February! 20th is only when the posts were displayed.

The terms and conditions are scaring me.... so big.... and so strict. especially point 3. Just think about the mental condition of a person who wins but in unable to receive the call when contacted.

Where are the contest rules? It just has one action button - Submit Entry! :-/

I have a wonderful post that I wrote a year ago after my travel to Sri Lanka and this contest doesn't allow me to give as an entry. I dunno how people can expect to churn out a fresh post about a travel. I haven't travelled since that post was made. It seems they don't want interesting posts but more posts with expedia name in it. #fail

Just rewrite it? Am sure the tale will be different and what u focus and remember of the trip will be different? 

Just imagine visiting to one of thgose countries after winning the contest and pen your entry. As simple as that... :-)

Any restriction to use of pictures? I mean the ones I havent clicked myself and would want to just put it in the entry. Pics are inherent part of all my entries.

As exciting as this is, the travel date is too binding. We do have a life you know :-) I'll write only coz it is a good exercise and I do have a story to tell.

Wait, if I win, how will Expedia supposed to call me? I don't remember mentioning my number in profile. Are we supposed to leave our mobile numbers on our submissions?

They have mentioned in the Terms and Conditions page that they will ask for your personal details

..... But the persoanl details (including phone number) can be asked only when they call us....

Going y what is mentioned in the Terms and Conditions page, they will be paying you for your flight charges and an amount varying between 150-300 $ (see 4.5) And you will have to adjust with that money itself, including accomodatiuon, if I am not wrong.

It is definitely an exciting Contest. An incentive to dig into your memory and churn out a post :) BUT, the rules ase so Stict.  Just TWO calls and then the Prize passes on the next eligible blogger.

WHY, WHY Can't Expedia send an Email in addition to the phone calls.  Dont understand the harm of sending one.

The contest is undoubtedly a grand one...but the 'terms and conditions' list seems to be a little too aggressive---esp wrt .2, 7.2, 7.5 and 4.11.The non transferable and non changeable schedule of the prize trip would not leave the participant (who wins the contest) feeling much of a winner as the victory would be bound under limits of time and decision, which are more unfortunately, not his own.

Also the fact that the winner would be contacted via phone only twice is a little intimidating and perhaps email would be an additional option which should be included before rendering the winner as ineligible.

I think Indiblogger should reconsider the terms and conditions.
