- It will not be delayed this time and even if it is, it will be a very nominal delay compared to what we have seen earlier.
- My first ranks this year were 80 and 67, respectively for my blogs Just like that and Story in pieces
- I am really confused about Just like that as it is almost inactive now a days, but for Story in pieces, it should go up. How much, no idea.
- No changes in algorithm, at least for this month!
All the best for your new ranks. I think that the crawler hardly bothers whether we update our blogs or not. :-)

Coming to your questions: Mine was 83 or 84 the previous time. I don't remember it and I am also too lazy to go there and check. I think that it would remain the same this time and also for ever until the algorithmchanges again. Since the algorithm was updated very recently, I don't expect a change so soon.
I really hope they give it on time, as Indi seems to be up-to date these days.
My first rank this year was 78
. I would love it if it increases,but all I'm hoping is that It won't decrease.

The Alexa ranks have all dropped drastically thanks to the redirection of .com to .in .. I wonder what will be the impact of this on Indirank?! Also the sites linking in dont show any more!
Oh.. that's not going to affect it much I think, Sujoy. Though blogspot redirects to .in when we check it from India, the url remains .com elsewhere. One of my friends told so too. So the Indirank algorithm if its taking Alexa rank for the .com, it'd still be proper I think.

Would you guys mind explaining me what does the rank denote..? i mean higher rank is better or lower... what's the basis of the scaling of this indirank? BTW my Indiranks for two blogs are 45 and 57... so what does it convey?
HIGHER is the better !45 and 57 are normal good ranks for the first timer, everyone will be in this scale while begining !If you have good MOZ rank and if you are updating frquently and if you have good numbers in visitor, your rank will scale up !

Never worry ! Rank has got nothing to do with our blog, it is just a number.AS far as i have seen blogs with RANK 85 and 58 didn't differ much !so KUDOS, keep rocking
Yes, Deepak is right. A rank doesn't tell how good or bad or promoted or demoted a blog is you just enjoy your blogging, sir!

Well rankings are now just plain statistics for me.This platform has given me wonderful people to be connected through a common interest - Blogging. Sustainability is spreading and its Good to see Bloggers getting focussed on Social responsibilities too.

No no, Deepak We are never earlier. They're later than the earlier we expect, and we cant start later thinking they'll be more later, else we'll be late and they'll be earlier.

I am new to Indi blogger at the starting of year 2012 mine was 84 now its showing 86, does this mean 86 was my Jan score. ... Confused
