Sachin Tendulkar joining politics
I unfollowed @sachin_rt to express my disappointment at his RajyaSabha nomination from Congress. Will follow when he turns that offer down.
Sachin Tendulkar and actress of yesteryear Rekha are among 4 eminent persons who have been recommended for nomination as members of Rajya Sabha.He is very respectable citizen of India and of the world, his image creates very positive impact on everyone so as a beginner i don't think he will change India but any party running with negative image will get extra benefits from his image. so it looks like a political trick and could be a trap for Sachin. But it's India so let's see.. :) . I dont know but he is no more the GOD for me , He has betrayed me !!!!
I think People should stop "GOD"ing him and treat him as a mortal.(This always reminds me of MORTAL COMBAT 4) .Anyways but the thing is that jaha rupaiya waha tum !!!!
Did he accept it? There is a chance he will respectfully decline. I remember seeing him in that party thing where they hosted it when he made 100 centuries. He dressed funny and he felt very awkward sitting betwen the Ambanis. He doesn't strike as a guy who will accept this.
I am not sure but looks like he has accepted it.
In past 20 years noone has voted against congress if they have nominated someone in RS
its a shame for sach
will he be the first one to deny the offer
will he accept the offer and still be sachin we know.
