Is thunderbird or outlook reliable ?

I've been using Thunderbird for the past 4-5 years and ot once has it given me any problems!! It's easy to use and I personally prefer it over Outlook. Maybe it's just me! ;)

Yup!! Antivir, Malwarebytes, Spyware, and windows firewall too :D

my lappi would die ....if i install them all .....lolz.....anyways thanks ....:) 

I have also used outlook at my home computer for gmail. I think outlook is great for exchange and pop3. Not sure about others.

I have used Outlook for 6 years and did not find any problem. Of course I used it for my office mails and they must have taken proper measures of security.

But, I think you can also use it and it should not pose any security threats.
