what does students do online...other than fb?
what abt a website for youth on events and happenings..education..etc etc...

I am a student. Promoted to 11.I log on to Facebook, check the notifications. Then I check my mails.Then I sit down to blog, and promote. And then I Youtube.
Basically, that is what I do everyday on the internet.
wait would a website on providing regional information such as tution centres ...education etc would help you...or wtr it will benefit youth?
Student here. Answering entrance exams. I do a lot of things other than FB but thats perhaps my own interest to discover the net (I think i'm praising myself here :P).. OK. Its good if there is a website that provides such info about tuitions etc. but students visit those sites only if they need some info bout some courses not all the time....
Agreed with Alok...or else your site needs to be on top of google search cz students do search stuffs like tution classes avaialable and can be converted into visitor only if you are ranked on top of search. We, students dont preferably tend to check 2nd page of search results 
I started blogging during my recent 12th Boards...I don't know why but I just started it and FB is the last thing on my to-do list.Twitter is great though.Tuition sites will suck.Education however can do a good job....
But most aren't like you oe me... For them the world hasn't started or opened up... And hence their addiction to Facebook
I am a student. Started blogging at the age of 16 after spending almost half a year on reading more about blogging and preparing for the launch of my blog. Around 1.5 years of successful blogging (I think so..... 
) though I feel that I am not writing on topics which I wanted my blog to revolve around. I hope that my blog will soon return to its original state
Coming to your question, facebook is something which doesn't have a presence in my life. I spend most of my time studying, blogging and researching on ways to earn money on he net.
The suggestion of a site offering information related to tutions isn't something that would work. I don't thing students search for such things on the net. 
It is holidays time for me- full two months. And I wish to start a site which would be a one stop destination for learning Java: Java tutorials, Sample projects, Video tutorials, a forum and other features. I would be starting it with tutorials now hopefully launching it in withing the next three months. Hope to see you on my site as soon as it is launched.
