Help needed: Average time on site
As per Gogle Analytics, till yeterday average time on my site was more than 7 minutes and it has always been between 7-10 minutes for last 4 months. Today morning, I was surprised to see it to drop to 2 minutes which seemed very unusual to me.
Is it possible and I need to look seriously into the issue? Or is it just some erroneous calculation and I should ignore it?

(1) first extend the data range and see the result.
(2) check if your bounce rate is broadening or page/visit has shrinking.
(3) sometimes a sudden spike in 'new visitor count' causes but 7 to 2 is really spooking.
check 'frequency and recency'-see, is there sudden spurt in one timer count ?
