Appeal to members

I am just copy-pasting what our dear friend Sorcerer said on a thread. I found it relevant and thought of sharing with you all. If followed properly, the forum will be much better place.

I would also appreciate if people don't mini mod on the forum. Confrontation works but to a certain extent and you really need to make sure you don't end being a troll. I'll skip the lecture and would request people to use the report button rather than taking matters into their own hands. If you are, please make sure you're teaching people something rather than discouraging them. I hope no1 takes this as an opportunity to make me look bad by saying that one is planning to leave the forums/community. Despite how it looks, its not possible for me to look into each and every comment/thread. People will rant/criticize/fart/drool/shit/pee/vomit next to you, but rather than leaving the community or saying that you're leaving the community, either don't talk to that person or contact the moderators.
