Who wants to go to Melbourne?

Great to see a contest where everyone would get a prize, something more than the normally offered T Shirt.  But the topic could have been something better.... Just out of curiosity, what is the capacity of the pen drive? 

@ Renie: I suggest you to make the statement 'multiple enteries are not allowed' bold. And also, mention the same here. People would most probably overlook the rule.

Maybe it is a pen drive already filled with data and images of Melbourne - sort of virtual trip  :)

 I have first looked at that rules on the Terms and Conditions Page and not on the main contest page. Terms And Conditions are more interesting than the almost constant instructions on the main contest page. :-)

I have a suggestion. Entries should be visible only after the submission date is over. We have seen many instances where people get ideas from other entries and write their post based on it.

Agreed! But can it also be ensured that the posts go out on "Posts from my network" on the day entries are displayed? If I am not mistaken, the entries seem to carry the date when they are first put up so when they do get displayed they are too old for being displayed on the "Posts from my network" for people networked with the blogger concerned.

True..of late,I've seen many bloggers doing the same.Have written a suggestion as well on Indiblogger 2 months back..but till now it's the same old rule.

careful that someone may steal your thunder? Take a chance friend and jump first winning comes later. participate first, think of winning later. but your fear is genuine enough, but you need to overcome fear of losing.

Heya guys!!!!....  Love this contest!!!... though i was wondering would something humor and fantasy would count for an entry???

Just write natural style. Don't worry too much. No hard and fast rules. Though is you insist and ask, they may say no. If judges like what you have written and it promotes tourism to Victoria, I guess you stand a chance.

There is nothing out there ... India is the best.

else competition shall be for passport holders only.

I think that Renie needs to give a clarification on this matter. There appears to be no problem if non passport holders compete for the other prizes.

@Ranjith: Yes clarification is must else in the case a blogger participating for a flash-drive wins the top prize -call it destiny,lady-luck or any good charm.......then sponsors shall be in a big problem.

It's better to to make it mandatory in the post  whether blogger holds a valid passport or not. those who don't have a valid passport should not be considered for the top prize.

I don't have a pass port but a pen drive wouldn't be all that bad. We lot are blogging everyday so consider this just as an incentive to all that hard work :)

No one is going to check your passport dude. Just participate. Just make sure it is not so good that it ends up winning a trip to Australia.

I just read the T&C. Wish they'd said that everyone can participate but only 20+ can win the trip.

I have never been to Melbourne,, do we have to imagine our tour and write??

The contest page says: Tell us about the experiences you would love to bring back fromMelbourne 

Going by it, you shouldn't imagine that you've been to Melbourne. You just need to state how you would like the trip to be. However, the home page says, "Share with us your Melbourne exeprience". Probably, it is incorrect.
