Hi Vishal..

Indexing is very important  for blogs traffic.. if your blog is indexing on search engine, then you get more search traffic.. You have to add your blog in "Google webmaster tools" and "bing webmaster tool". they will give you a short <meta> tag or a XML file for verification the authorship. just follow the steps.. Once you verify the authorship , Your blog starts indexind.. For better indexing of blog and blog posts you have to improve SEO..

Google indexes page by following links from one page to another. Say that Google knows that a page A exists, then the crawlers goes to page A and looks for the pages to which A  links. The process is then repeated for each of those pages. In this way, all the web pages get indexed.

To see if your page is indexed or not, simply enter the complete URL of some page of your blog. If you find your blog in the search results, then it has been already indexed. If you don't find it, it means that it hasn't been indexed yet.

Indexing is related to individual pages and not a site as a whole.

Truly speak, you cannot do something that will gaurantee the indexing of your pages. Infact, you need not really bother about it because almost every page gets indexed even if you don't put much effort.

Now, to ensure that your page is indexed, Google needs to know that your page exists. It comes to know of a new page when it finds a link to that page on some other page. So, the first thing that you can do is to post your article link on IndiVine which is one of the several article directories available. There are many such article blog directories. Don't post your article link on every blog directory that you find as links from spam sites and directories may black list your site. Posting on IndiVine is safe enough. :)

Now, if Google finds that on an average, it is coming across a new link to a new page of your site once every week, it will be able to infer that you are updating your site once every week. So, even if your don't post get links on other sites, Google will still come to your site seraching for new contents. Since, the new article will be linked to from the home page of your blog, it gets indexed.

So, only new blogs need to care too much about indexing. Older blogs need not, provided that the blog is updated on a regular basis because it Google visit your site continuously for a few weeks and doesn't find any new content, then it might lower its frequency of visiting your site. And say, you have updated your site just after Google visited your site and left without getting any new content. Your new post would not be picked up soon, until there exists a link from some other site to that new post.

Now coming to your site, if I copy a block of text from your posts which are two or three days old, and paste it in the serach box, your site is one of the results. This means that your site is being indexed regularly. And you need not really care about your site being indexed.

Now, this is all just about your site being indexed. Remember that indexing your site doesn't gaurantee that it will be shown in search results. That is a completely different thing!

Hope this helps you. Smile

Sorry, but the statement you cannot do something that will gaurantee the indexing of your pages is incorrect. Came to know about it just a few minutes back. Smile

You may manually add your pages to Google search by following the steps here.

One of the effective way to get your post indexed quickly should be adding some Google+1. It works great!
