When blogging becomes painful...

you write good posts but at the end of the day when you check in how many read your story, you see the single digit.... then when you check your mail for comments, you get none....

A real fed up guy... what else you will say to him....

Okay. I'm not gonna be all sympathetic here, but don't take it personally.

I have been blogging since long too! For almost 8 months I wrote fairly well & regularly on varied topics & yet I rarely got any comments. What was my mistake? I didn't know any other bloggers. I hadn't told anyone I had a blog. Nothing. It's just like singing or dancing when you are alone, you may be talented (or you may not be) but what good is when there is nobody else to give thri suggestions/opinions, right?

Then I joined a few Blog Networking sites, IndiBlogger being one of them. And I read other people's blogs. And posted relevant replies in forum. Soon I had got a lot more traffic and many many comments. I have even stopped tracking traffic.

What I am trying to say here is don't lose heart. But don't create somewhat spammy topics on forums, where you rant & moan about how you aren't getting any traffic. (As I said, read other people blog & leave meaningful comments. Follow the one you like. Be honest.)

Soon you will get a lot of traffic & comments.

Best of luck! Smile

thanks for the suggestion....
