For newbies like me who are yet to get an Indirank ... it is dissappointing to wait. But I remember a quote:-

even i'm waiting for my indirank for the first time :) hope it comes soon :)
It appears that Indiblogger has made it a habit to delay the ranks. Next time, they should take the delay into consideration and give themselves a few days grace!

actually Alexa ranking is not getting updated and the same is one of the parameter for Indirank....so i think thats the actual reason of the delay :-)
Do we have to be on Alexa or something to get an Indirank ??
Alexa ranks is one of the criteria for IndiRank. most of the blogs are automatically featured on Alexa if Google starts Indexing your blog.
If you have a blog or a website then u are automatically on alexa...

I don't know anything about Google o Alexa page rank, much less ever tried to improve them.That means my IndiRank is scewed doesn't it?
Indi rank and alexa rank are mere morale boost and dont have much to do with your blog success or traffic, basically concentrate on your blog's unique visitors and pageviews per month, alexa rank is partially dependent on the alexa tool bar installed. and Indi rank is dependent on many factors like - alexa rank, posting frequency, page rank of website, feeds satus and may be also indiblogger activity also.
Also alexa rank gets updated daily, i rank change every single day on alexa. All the best hope to have a good indi rank post diwali - Hope you all have a GREAT rocking diwali \

The pagerank crawler is very slow this month... it's the only one left. Hopefully it will be done by tomorrow afternoon. Then a couple of hours to process the data and generate the ranks. 
The pagerank has not been updated by google yet :( I am still at PR0...
i'm still at PR n/a Mohan ;) so not expecting a big jump in IndiRank as such..
Mohan: Wait a minute, you have a reasonably aged site that seems to be filled with fresh content and user participation and you still have a PageRank of 0?

Last time around I did a bit of change to url from http://mohanbn.com/blog/ to http://www.mohanbn.com that seem to have taken off my PR2 and brought it to PR0. I know, it will take a while to rebound.
Yes, it makes sense to wait and see.
My site has experienced a wide range from PR 2--7 (currently 6) over the years. The only time it went down (7 to 2) was when I started doing shady things like selling links within my posts for money. I sold 8 links in total across a site that contains several thousand pages.
It took one PR refresh to go down, it is taking several to return.
