india or any reginal ranking means how you rank in that specific country.
Site linking in means how many sites are linking to your blog .much sort of backlinks.
if you want to increase linking in data, do this (un-ethical way :) )
1. install alexa toolbar on your computer (from alexa site) and ask your freinds to do so too).
2. Visit the blogs where u see ur link and then click on them.
this linking in data updates once in 30 days so may take some time to get updated.
not that from one site u can have only one link
ohh..okie..thanks..I usually check using Google chrome pluggin and didn't know about all this!! :)
@DS there is no need to create an account to check the site stats. It can be directly done on the site under the 'site info' tab without an acct also.

My alexa is increased it was once under 200K! :(((((((((((. Anyway, it's even increased in past 4 days when I didn't update my blog. Above data is copy - pasted.

I am a 4 posts old blogger.I dont quite understand the ranking!
Dont worry, As a starter , its quite good.
You just at right place and time to start acting .I vouch if you just follow some tips from now,you will see your rank somewhere near 400 K globally in next 30 days.
Ranking means your blog compared to others. I rough terms consider a cycle race or car race ranking. Rank or number 1 means best. Like google is #1 and Facebook is #2, If your site is getting much traffic you can get a rank 3. (could possible theroticly but practily not).
Its just a virtual rank. The data alexa gives is not 100% accurate but still your site is judge by this rank by many authiroties like ad companies and others. SO the better your rank is, the better you get paid :)
