Google Page rank or GPR cant be tweaked, i suppose GPR is the rank google gives out periodically just like Indiranks ;) It basically denotes your page's significance or weight in search engines... Keep updating your blog with original content, hopefully you will get one the next time they are updated

Google page rank is measure of your blo'g popularity. It increases when a number of quality sites and blogs link to you.

I dunno what happened .. i was blogging with wordpress a few months back(thats time my GPR was 2, but then when i migrated all my posts to the self hosted domain .. and connected the feed to indi... my GPR went down to 0. and till now nothing .. :-(

Here is something that you can do. On each of your posts at worpress, insert a link to the corresponding post on the new domain. Some link juice can be passed in that way.

@Ranjith: Well.. i tried doing that with some of my posts...but then somewhere i heard that the search engines hates duplicate content.. so i dumped all the posts in my previous wp account... and am back to the square one again...

@ Sauvik When you link posts on your old blog to the new one, you should remove the entire content from the old blog and just keep the link. Your blog posts will be pdresent only on the new one. So, it is definitely not duplicate content.

BTW, what is meant by GPR and does it affect Indirank?

GPR is Google page Rank .. and i dont know about the new system but previsouly it used to be considered.. and moreover a higher GPR enahnces ur chances of more visibility in the search engines...

increasing GPRi is a time taking task. needs loads of patience. Keep blogging, improve ur site's internal linking and submit ur blog to the google, msn and yahoo directories.. i guess thats all u can do. and yes... last but not the least - dont loose heart :-) 

@Sauvik: how should one submit to these directories? and how should we improve our internal linking sites?
