Would you as a blogger change your views on a subject if offered money?
This could be a slight trigger question .. with so many companies willing to pay for a post from blogger like smorty etc .. this I feel is already happening and most of the time they are products that we really havent heard of ..
But the real question is, if you knew for a fact that a canon camera was better than its peer Nikon camera.. Would you write a super post for the Nikon Camera if money was on the table?
@All those who say they won't change their opinion for money: I think it is really foolhardy on your part. If you liked a Nikon and were asked to endorse a Canon or vice versa, it wouldn't do any harm if you endorsed Canon although you liked Nikon.
The basic premise why most people don't wish to do that is because of the social incentives. People wish to come across at morally right human beings. This gives them a lot of leverage in the society. Changing their opinions often would make them lose their credibility.
But when the financial incentives outweigh the social/moral incentives like in the case of Canon/Nikon (atleast for me), one tends to accept money for writing a favourable post for the product.
It is a question of balancing the two.
hmmm.... well depends upon the amount of money!! lolzzzz okk just kidding but i think theoritically we can say or think anything but its only when the actual real life thing happens that we know what we'll do!
