This is my food blog that has no followers or commenters. I'd like to know where I'm going wrong. Please help as this is my last effort to revive this blog which I will otherwise shut down if I don't have an audience

Thanks for your response. I'm sorry I did not reply to you earlier but frankly I was too busy caught up in my grand mothering duties. Also, I am not very familiar with Social media etc etc and didn't know how to respond to IndiBlogger etc. But I am glad that you are encouraging and hope that the blog picks up.

Its nothing bro, perhaps no one have noticed it. Just keep writing, i am also in the same path.

Thanks for your words of encouragement and my sincere apologies for not replying to you. I had no idea of how this whole process works and only now figured it out. Thanks for your time

Belly Bytes: I visited. I read. I like the clean layout. It matches the clean writing style.

Building an audience takes

6 cups of time,

18 litres of patience,

16 hours of reading other blogs per day,

18 hours of commenting on other blogs per day,

10 hours of follow ups

19 hours per week of following other blogs, whether food related or not, ( just find interesting blogs - even non-food bloggers have to eat.... )

if you have any time left over attempt to post on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and repeat the dosages I just described above.

Good luck!

Well, I'm sorry for such a late response to your review of my blog . I was really very very caught up in baby sitting and blogging became a very difficult activity for me to keep up with.

I have noted your suggestions and will try to incorporate them in my daily life. I am not very good at HTML, coding etc and my blog was set up by a guy who I think took me for a big ride.

btw: Try to open up comments and don't hold them for moderation. If you do hold them for moderation, then moderate promptly. Nothing pisses me off more than to wait for a week or month before my comment gets accepted.

And do reply to comments.

And why make it so hard for people to follow your blog by allowing "Follow on Mytaste" only. I'm not going to create yet another log in just to follow your blog....

The option is to follow via email. I already have 12 email ids and loads of emails everyday. Not going to happen. I prefer to read blogs in my Wordpress reader. I'll add your blog on there the hard way ( via URL) but the thing is you're making it hard for people to comment and follow, which is what your problem was ^^^ there, no?

Hey belly bytes, don't be sad. Even my blog doesn't has much followers (probably just 5 via feedburner). I would recommend you to use feedburner, bloglovin & intensedebate/commentluv on your blog. Please don't give up on Blogging, your blog will be really famous one day and I can assure you this. ;)

I am really sorry I did not respond to your review of my blog. I was really very busy with my grandmothering duties. Besides I am not very tech savvy and had no idea of how this whole process on Indiblogger works. Thanks for your words of encouragement and I do hopw my blog becomes famous. As they say " aapke mooh me ghee shakkar"

It's Niec Bro.
