Hi

I am trying to change the template for my blog. When I try to upload the new template, a message appears: "Please confirm that the following widgets should be deleted. All the widgets' configuration data will be lost."

While I dont mind uploading the Other Lost Widgets Again!

But I definitely dont want to lose the Followers Widget!

How do I change my Blogger template such that Followers are NOT lost!!???

Please help!

Thanks and regards

It is very simple Shilpa. Log in to Blogger and go to Layout. Clik the gadgets buttons one by one and copy the html code into Notepad and save it. After changing the template add the gadgets one by one again by copying the code back. Presto! You are done.

I changed my template over a dozen times and everytime this is what I did to ensure that I retained all my gadgets.

Also beware that your meta tags for "Google", "Alexa" verification will also get deleted upon changing the template. So do remember to copy their codes and add them again by using "Edit HTML".
