Liking without reading

I don't care for likes and promotes. I just wish people would take the time to actually read before they promote.

Short rant of the day!

You're right. As a test I uploaded only the text from my insta update to my blog while writing a travel post... and I did mention that the post will be completed in a day. Despite this, I am getting likes here on indiblogger. Ha! Ha! People definitely DO NOT read posts and this makes me sad.

It bugs me. I would like to engage and chat with people. I don't care for empty likes and promotes. Even if you have something you want to sell me, contact me and tell what you can do for me... I wish they'd get rid of this featire completely. It serves no purpose whatsoever. ( ok, it serves no purpose to me, personally. It may offer others something. )

even if you write in to tell me I write crap, I'd prefer that to this empty and useless like..

This was probably my first disappiontment when I joined IB around 6 years back. I did dig out how my likes in IB were increasing without any visits to the actual post. Sad to see it happen this way.

It feels like people turn into bots when it comes to blog engagement.

True. I still prefer the old-fashioned way of reading and commenting on a blog... and generally forget to 'like' on indivine but this is more because just liking and not reading doesn't do me any good.

This is one of the two biggest issues I have here. The other issue is IndiRank, which is really IndiScore..
