seeking guidance

I don't quite get the overall idea of the blog... It's a mix of posts so is it a personal one? You write well, direct and without beating around the bush! I like that style a lot. Hope you don't turn complex and leave what you have got going for you, in my opinion.

There's the header.. simply crafted, telling something.. but don't you feel its a bit monochromic? Only white and microphones five.. Could try something different there perhaps  also, let the header image fill the width it is supposed to fill. just an image half or quartersize, for the sake of a header image.. That's unattractive. Doesn't meet ends. Similar for the background. The title and header speak of your voice. The background is some different image, of what looks like the Statue of Liberty in the background. Doesn't work well for you. Go to the template designer. They have better choices of background. Or else search Google for some image that does match. Randomness is good, but not everywhere, right?

Check some other blogs and see if you can find some other useful widgets to fill your blog sidebar space with. It is empty at present 

I don't always look for comments, but let's be honest, we all do look for followers and readers right? And readers do tend to search. Bring up those last two widgets. It'll be good. As posts of yours increase, so will labels. The list will go on increasing and you'll find the blog length also increasing. Try a label cloud instead of a list. 

There's this blue birdy who comes right in between the post area as I am reading.. It leads to your tweets na? Makes me wonder.. are you asking me to read your posts, or go to your twitter. It's distracting.. a static image on your sidebar would get the task done. You could repeat if you having an FB page too. And lastly, I think you can reposition the google translate part from the top of the blog. People would come, but not everyone would use it. Sidebar is appropriate. Who wants to can use it, and see it
