Wonderful initiative.Planning to attend the workshop.

Went through Ms.Arya's profile-on one hand she confesses that she does not do FAM trips nor monetization etc and on the other she is planning to take it up as part of the program!  Strange ....

Hello Meenakshi, valid observation indeed! Yes, I do not do FAM trips nor monetize my blog. It is purely out of choice. I prefer making my money from my workshops and webinars. Just for the record, I also do a program on "Best practices for WhatsApp" for CII [Confederation of Indian Industry] and I do not use WhatsApp. At all. But that does not mean I do not know what best practices are. I understand human behaviour and etiquette and use that as a guideline. :)

Likewise I also run programs for PR agencies and have a PR background so know how agencies work, along with how the travel industry [tourism boards, airlines, and hotels] and corporate communication units operate. The inside story. And that is what I will be sharing in my workshop. The inside story, along with case studies.

Trust I have been able to answer your question. Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything further regarding the workshop. Happy to answer. And I hope I get to see you in Delhi.

Ah! It is so much like writing about fatherhood without having brought up a child. Not impossible, really. I can quote the famous case of Nirad C Chaudhuri who had an encyclopaedic knowledge about every form of alcoholic drink but was known to have never had a sip of any. Sounds interesting. :)

For everyone undecided about which course to take, we've launched a short assessment (in the form of a questionnaire) on the WeBlogAcademy page. Have fun taking it! :)

Haha, Arvind. Guess that is one way of putting it. :D However, a blog is also one's brand and can be used to further monetize your professional skills [which I do and will be sharing the know how of in the sessions]. Secondly, one way of monetizing a blog is by "creating" products and services which one sells through one's blog, again which I do and will be sharing the know how on. The latter is more difficult and strategic, but more satistfying. Both the methodologies, used more in the west, are only now picking up in India. They equally form part of the course content as you can see from the syllabus, and I assure you are backed by experience. :)
