More categories on Indivine, please!

We need more categories on Indivine. How often do I end up categorising my posts as 'Memoirs' when they don't fit into anything else. For instance we need categories on children and family.

How do you guys feel about this? Shall we bombard Renie to add more categories?

Do you guys have some categories in mind? We could help the Inditeam by giving them some ideas.

@Pooja, Dhiraj Shenoy and Arti: If it didn't work when you asked nicely, the belan might work, don't you think?Wink I am tired of posting all kinds of topics under 'Memoirs'.

Renie, are you listening?

Your belan should put some fear in the Inditeam's mind and heart!!! Nag them like there is no tomorrow:)

I checked my blogger dashboard. People rarely come to blog from the category tab. THey usually come from the latest sort order of indivine or top ranking order (that is if my post reaches the top:-) )

My opinion is, if readers are not reaching your blog like that then why bother. I know that it is not a good answer. But that's my thinking.

Ah that's sort of like saying, the canteen at work doesn't take suggestions for good food unless others say it is good too, so why keep asking for new food? Keep eating the old?

@Leo agree wit you. What bothers me is the way I submit posts to outlandish categories!

I think and it is my humble opinion the categories at IndiaBloggers is regressive million light years away from blogging.. I have to post most of my stuff at Self Improvement.. there should be a category for photography that includes other sub divisions of photographrapy for photo bloggers as a street photographer this place in terms of category sucks..and honestly Indi Blogger needs a massive makeover , in tems of categories the very soul of blogging .. thank you Zephyr for posting this thread .. and the rolling pin is the symbol of rising above the kitchen of political scams corruption and everything else..merci..

LOL on your reference to my rolling pin! I didn't know that about photo blogs, thinking that you  guys had it better. I end up posting everything under 'memoirs', as I have mentioned.

Indiblogger needs a makeover in more things than just categories, but since this thread is about that, I refrain from nagging the inditeam further.

Where is the Inditeam comment on this? I thought they police the forum and post replies as and when needed?

I second zephyr's demands.

I had brought up this topic few weeks back over here . I had requested for sub-categories as Zephyr says that some posts do not 'fit' into the categories listed. We need new categories in the 'Sub-Categories' list!

No response till now on my suggestion from the Indie Team. Frown

Let me know when you are planning to get the 'belans' out, will get mine too Wink
