Backlinks To Blogs

Hey Guys.

I've been active in IndiBlogger from the past month and I found some really great writers here.

The thing is these writers are not getting noticed as they should be, instead people who vote for other posts, get votes on their post and therefore get noticed. If you ask me, I think this is not fair. This is really partial. This website is an opportunity for us to find real writers, to get inspiration, and to help each other and therefore increase our writing skills and abilities.

As this is not happening, and no one else seems to take the initiative, I thought I'll take it up.

Here is what I am planning to do:

Firstly, I will get a custom domain which will serve as purpose for this job.

Secondly, I need all of you to post your blog links here along with 5 posts which you think is the best posts of yours.

Thirdly, I will go through the 5 posts you provide and if I like them I will post a little description about it in my site and then give a backlink to your blog so that the post can get noted. If I like 3 of your 5 posts, then I'll make sure I'll visit your blog constantly and will keep checking on for your new posts to make sure they get the attention that they deserve. If I don't choose 3 of your posts, you need not be disappointed as I'm not a perfect person nor an ultimate writer. You can keep submitting your posts here which you think deserves attention and if I like them I'll post in.

So this is what I thought I'll do. To all those who think that I'm doing this to get attention on my blog, please note that I'll be giving this backlinks from a domain, which is new. I know some really great writers personally, and I'll make sure they read your posts and give reviews and comments on them.

So, What do you guys think of this idea? I really thought it would be good.

You guys let me know if its good or not.If you like the idea then please leave your blog link as well as the 5 best posts according to you.

People who already have all the attention can also request a backlink here. But, just so you know, the probability of choosing your posts over the others is really less.

Thats it for now.

Thank you,

Pooja.

Great initiative, Pooja. We definitely need people who can go through blogs and identify best ones for readers. I am also trying to do the same through my reviews.

I found this problem too . I'm not sure of the partiality but there are some who blindly promote stuff without even viewing the posts . This is so bad Undecided

I think it will open Flood gates. this is going to be an individual approch (taxing) which would be standing different from IndiVine.

I like the idea though but to be frank, how long can you keep doing this? it may not be really viable in the long run but it would definitely be apperciated :) :) :)

Yes it isSmile.

Thank youWink. I'm planning to keep it doing for as much as I canSmile.

Once a blog starts getting the Traffic it deserves, I will leave it and then take up new blogs againWink. In this way all new extraordinary writers can be notedSealedSmile.

I was thinking about taking help from one or two of Indi-Masters like youSmile. You all obviously have lots of experience and can easily decide upon which post is good enough to be promotedSealedSmile.

We'll seeSmile. Let people start replying hereWink

It does sound like a lot of work for your Pooja but I think it will be a great opportunity as well. Both for yourself and other bloggers. My only suggestion would be categories for the blogs or posts. That would make it easier for your readers of the page to find what they are looking for and thus more likely to continue following you as well. I think you could well turn out to be a trusted resource for finding the best of the blogs. I have 5 links for you as well and if you decide on categories mine would most likely fit under Family/Relationships or Women's Interest.
