May be you have voted too much for the day, there is a limit for clicking on 'view post to promote' too. No ban.

that meant that you have finished the daily quota of voting on IndiVine. Though, I'm not sure about the number, one thing I know is that there is a limit of indivine posts one can vote for in 24 hours. Don't worry, this will reset after 24 hours, and you will be able to vote again. If it still doesn't resolve, you can raise a support ticket here. Regarding the number of votes, I guess some IndiBlogger veteran might be able to shed some light on it.

You can vote for a mazimum of something between 40-70 posts per hour.

Maximum of 40-70?

The range you have given is ridiculous. There's a vast diff in the numbers esp considering an hour

I think the idea of voting restricts people from appreciating someone's article or post. More often than not, voting becomes a mandatory return gesture for something that we sincerely liked. Marketing our blogs is indeed a skillful art which a few have mastered effortlesly. I honestly wish that my friends here would comment and express themselves rather than just vote (for its a desert in my blogCry and wish it has a hail storm!!!

ok. It is 40 votes per hour (rolling period)

rolling perioud?

40 votes per 1 hour rolling period means that you can vote for a new post only if you have voted for less than 40 posts in the past one hour. ( currentTime.hour -1: currentTime.min : currentTime.sec )

In contrast, 40 votes every hour means that you can vote for a new post only if you have voted for less than 40 posts in the current hour. ( currentTime.hour:00:00)

If you have voted for 40 posts at 2:59, then you can vote for 40 more posts at 3:01 if it is '40 votes every hour'. But if it is rolling period, then you can't vote.

ok got it
