Quit my job, became an entrepreneur helping retail investors

Hi,

I have recently quit my well-paying full-time job so that I can focus entirely on my blogs www.raagvamdatt.com and www.paisaplanner.com.

The feedback that I got from my readers in the last 2.5 years has shown me that I have been able to help many fellow Indians secure a better financial future through my writings. So, I thought I would be able to take the cause further if I work full-time on the blogs.

People quitting full time jobs to earn from blogging is still quite rare in India, and I was wondering if you would want to cover it on your blogs as a news item. You can find more information and a video post at http://www.raagvamdatt.com/Becoming-an-entrepreneur-Leaving-my-job-working-full-time-on-my-websites/281/.

It would be great if you can cover this on your blogs... Do feel free to get in touch with me if you want more background.

Thanks.

Hi Murari,

Opting out of campus placement to be on your own - that too blogging - would have been a hell lot of a decision! You need courage for that - I know the pressure around placement times! Congrats....

And thanks a lot for the kind words... Appreciate you taking out time to check out my website...

I will publish it on my blog review site. I am planning for a separate category for interviews.

More details in your mailbox.

All the best,

Thanks man! Yeah, just like in your case, my job was not allowing me to write as often as I would have liked. So, took the plunge! Do visit my blog, and if you like it, please spread the word!
