What happened to my thread?

I know I've been gone for three-four days and haven't replied, but is that enough for my post to be declared as 'inactive'? (I'm talking about my blog review thread). What are the number of days you're allowed to not post before a thread is declared as inactive? And can I/should I post a new thread? Is there any way to bring back an old thread?

Hey i think i have a problem with this...ok i get the fact that it was in the wrong section and you guys want to discourage that from happening in the future.

But I this thread was very resourseful. It had too many tips and suggestions in it. A significant amount of time was spent writing it  by Sakhi. Newbies like me could go through the thread and check out other reviews and make corresponding changes to our own blogs(I'm sure I wont be the only one saying this) . Now even though Sakhi is gracious enough to start reviewing all over again, the collection of reviews is now lost.

The least  that could be done was a reroute to the new thread from the old one which could have been kept for a few weeks then the topic could have been deleted. Or Renie could have made the topic sticky which would have solved the problem easily.

PS: I don't have any personal grudges against anyone here. I believe in fighting with ideas not with people. So I hope no one takes offense I'm just saddened at the loss of such a useful thread.

Hi Ajay,

I thought of this too. On the other hand, I did realize recently that such threads detract from the 'review your blog' part of the forum. Also that I did post on the parameters I generally review on in blogging beginners, so I guess people could see that and get a quick note of what they might have gathered from the blog itself.

Ya that makes sense but I just figured after the amount of effort you put in an exception could have very easily made. Anyway c'est la vie.

Sakhi, you can review the blogs in EXCLUSIVE blog review section.
