I'm not sure but it happens when there are some active scripts that run on your blog. I too received that message a few times, but not with my blog.

It often happens when the IE is not able to read a JS or a Special Character. More of the former than the latter.

@Sanjeetha, btw, why use IE anyway. Check out Umesh's thread on safest browser and find a good one for yourself Laughing

@Sanjeetha try removing Javascripts one by one. And then see which one is creating this problem.

How are they to be removed?

how to remove it?

Most of the javascripts are inserted by us as gadgets. If you click on edit gadget the HTML source opens. In that if you find something like 'javascript' remove that gadget as a whole and check if your blog opens properly.

Even i faced this problem two days back, I wasnt able to open my blog in firefox (error : 404 Not found). I tried IE but even there it said operation aborted! Clueless what that was, i have finally switched to Chrome now!

for me..it opens with firefox and not with IE

eh? I have never faced any such problem with firefox till date? I'm happy with firefox. And I have said before, ask any tech guy, IE is a total loser. The market share that it still holds is because microsoft packs it with windows by default and there are a lot of not-so-tech-savvy people who think IE is the only thing that can take them online. Anyway, Firefox is a winner all the way. But you can try chrome too. Its simple.

Whoa... your blog is javascript heavy.

Btw, I just visited the Internet Explorer MSDN forum to see if this problem is already known. Turns out, it is,...and is fixed in Internet Explorer 8.1.

There are also some tips about what might be causing the problem. I tried to check your blog through Firebug...but it is getting too complicated for me, and am super tired right now. MSDN indicates that some Plugin/Ad injector module might what is causing the problem. You might want to try removing them one by one and checking if you can find the problematic addition/application.... All the best.

And I completely agree with Xeno...Firefox, Chrome and even Opera are much cooler and powerful than Internet Explorer, and IEs share of the browser market is going down every day. In desperation, they have been trying to borrow features from the other browsers and allow developer extensions etc. But, they have a long way to go before they can capture the fancy of the tech savvy / Internet savvy junta.

Try changing the browser. Try Opera.

I had been trying to submit my posts to IndiVine for quite some days and it was not working. Someone suggested I change the browser. I used Opera and it's working fine now. :)

I guess IndiBlogger as a site has some browser compatibility issues. Changing the browser is a rule-of-thumb first step to follow when facing any technical issues with IndiBlogger. :D

the point I guess is not to change the browser as you never know which browser your visitor is using. And abt how to remove JS one by one @arti & @sanjeetha is as explained by @ranjith
