I joined the Indiblogger community very recently only to take part in the Samsung Mobiler contest, but am somewhat disappointed at the way things are moving here. I'm amazed at the amount of bogus voting happening here. It's almost like the General Elections in India  

I hope the judgement will not be based on these votes.  It seems the people having 200+ votes for their posts have a lot of time on their hands to create fake accounts.

Hi Navin and welcome here. :)

Why're you feeling down or disappointed  for not getting enough votes or by seeing (abnormal) voting made on other posts. 

The key to get more votes on a post is - make more friends on IB, expand the network, interect with other bloggers and they certainly will reciprocate. 

I am not sure whether 200+ votes are real or by fake accounts but I am sure the system will find it out whenever its time to decide. 

In this contest, the winners will be selected considering different aspects and not votes.

I guess, Samsung would like to pick a blog that could create an impact on the Internet as a whole (Google results, Keyword analysis, global visits to their product page on wiining blog) because picking a winner that an impact only on IndiBlogger makes no sense. Samsung has created enough buzz on Internet & IB already (which is why you joined IB too. didn't you?)
