I liked your poems. They are thoughtful and althought they are in free verse, I did find a distinct melody in them. They are really charming.

I really liked the section "Inspire My Inkdrops" And I found it very nice that your post are segregated very nicely into different sections.

On the other hand, your blog is very simply dressed up. It would not hurt to addd some spice to it. Maybe a awesome header image can do the trick!(But that is a thing of personal taste)

And, secondly, I noticed that most of your posts lack capital letters and one poem had no signs of punctuations. Now I understand that it is your artistic liberty to avoid using hem. But punctuations are essential to convey the meaning that you are trying to represent.(It is really confusing in certain cases  to understand where one sentence stops and another begins)

After all "lets eat grandma" and "Lets eat, Grandma" isn't the same.( Punctuation saves lives).A little punctuation would not hurt anybody.

In all, I am looking forward to your next post!

And do drop by my blog!

Thanks, Subhodeep for the review! Glad you liked my free verse and found it melodic.

The header image, is of my own making. I like it simple. Too much dressing is overcomplicated for me, and I find simplicity to be a lot more beautiful. A personal taste, as you so rightly say!

I don't start poetic lines with capitals these days, it doesn't give a flow in them when reading I feel. Punctuation.. well, that is a meaningful and true thing that you say and I usually do put them, but when I write, it just goes with how it comes you know.. I tend to forget that grammar and punctuation etc exist. I rarely even hunt for words.. I'll put in that punctuation for sure!

Thanks again!

Hi Vinay,

Sorry dude, I seemed to have missed reviewing yours. So here it is now :)

1. Look and Feel: Very pleasing to eyes, classical look and apt for a blog related to literature. I just loved the pen banner at the top.  In the Appreciation page, you can make the slide middle aligned as it seems thats something din load on the right.

2. Language : What can I say about that? The number of fans you have says it all. Very beautifully composed poems and haikus. Am following you now. Smile

Rating ? Well 9/10 :P

Smile no problemo. Thanks for the thoughts!

Will look to get that alignment corrected ASAP. 9/10? sure its not a 6 flipped by mistake? Innocent hehehe! Thank you for that rating too. Very much! Laughing

Hey Leo,

I generally avoid reviewing blogs that I find impeccable coz it’s very much tougher than reviewing a blog that has at least some flaws that can be pointed out and hence the delay here… Please accept my apologies for the same.. Smile

Still since so insist, here goes my 'typical' review for your blog…

The Good points--

  • Your blog has a beautiful and a neat template with a wonderful header image, the nice soothing colors wonderfully complement your soulful haikus and other pennings. I Love the whole look and feel of your blog. Somehow I feel it has a serene rhythmic vibe to it which can be felt the moment you are in. Love it :)
  •  I am a lover of all things simple and your blog has it in abundance; it makes for a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for a reader. I have seen very few blogs apply it such immaculately, So Kudos to you for that!
  •  Your words are magical, and heartfelt, they have an ability to move hearts... I live in a world of words ... To say that your world is just beautiful would be an understatement, your world is much more, it touches the soul and refreshes it :)

Things you cud improve on--

  • There aint any, atleast I cant see it..  On the contrary, I think there is a lot that I could pick from your blog and try to improve a bit of my own space :)

Lastly, request you to review my blog too.. PLEASE! I want to improve and you definitely can help.. Smile

Keep Rhyming, Best Wishes always Smile

Can't promise Tongue out I find it quite a task to review a world famous blog too Innocent Laughing

Site template , Classy, if it is the right word. Very decent, well designed blog. Content is surely, of very deep rooted philosophical nature. Solitude, and cool mind needed to do justice to the glorious penultimate pennings. Keep the flame burning.
I hope I have done justice to the review.

Hey, thank you so much for finding my template classy and well designed.. I think I go deep a lot :) I sort of like poetry when it is simple, but the simplicity itself goes deep without me realizing it..  Thank you for the encouragement.. :)

Visited your blog and liked the look and feel, the right balance of visuals with words. The posts are very brief, but quite thoughtful and philosophical. Less is more, and this works better for the electronic medium.

The colour scheme is fine. But I personally change the colours and layout of my own blog once in maybe 8-9 months, just well, for a change to go with my own chaning moods. Maybe you could try out a different background colour for the writing in your bolg's background. You know, a pale grey/white instead of the yellow-sepia? And for the sidebars, change the contrast to dark letters on pale background?

Bottom line: content matters most, and your's is classy. Keep it up and all the best :-)

Hi Monideepa ji :) thank you for coming to my blog and giving your thoughts on it... The main reason I returned to blogger from Wordpress recently is that I got clogged without change over there. I love to design templates and I do change based on moods too. I might change on New Year's possibly ;) Thanks for suggestions...

Content is classy? Really? :) Thank you very much. Glad to hear it.
