With Flipkart deciding to go App-only, why not Amazon.in vouchers hereafter?

In one of the most senseless decisions (in the customer's point of view) by an e-commerce major in India, Flipkart seems to have decided to go app-only. They want to ditch their website, and their customers who prefer to buy from laptop/PC. Why not take this as an opportunity to shift the happy hour and other contest prizes to Amazon.in in the future? *Suggestion to indiBlogger team*

Yes, I want to buy Kindle eBooks instead of the not-so-useful electronics items I normally buy on FK. Google Play voucher (if available) will be even better as the G-books app supports text-to-speech, but I know I am asking too much Tongue out

People, vote for Amazon.in below Cool

I too would like to vote for Amazon Vouchers, since Flipkart now doesn't care for customers like us, who wish to do things the way we want, not the way it wants to make us do. It's Amazon for me.

Does amazon allow to use multiple vouchers for a single purchase?

Yes Rini. Not only multiple vouchers, all vouchers get stored as Amazon wallet and you can use them like fast cash!

there is a site which makes you predict things/events and directly credits the amount in your bank a/c.Cool

But this amount is taxable @ 30 % and the prize amount often gets reduces to miniscule as there are  a large number of successful participants. Wink

Why not just have a thread with a prize wishlist of things you would like to win? If it can be arranged, all is well

My decision would depend on whether Amazon lets you redeem atleast 15 vouchers at onece, and whether voucher balances can be split across different purchases. I really like Flipkart for this kind of flexibility. I have bought a DSLR, an AC and the Zenfone 2 (and some cheaper things) with almost no extra payment. I am eagerly eyeing a GoPro for my next big purchase. I will be heartbroken if IndiBlogger switches to something else now.

If Filpkart goes App Only, Amazon or Snapdeal would get my vote because I would prefer not to do shopping from mobile. I don't even have internet on mobile most of the time and it is very difficult to use. Most of the things on Flipkart are not available on my Pincode either. Amazon and Snapdeal have better availability of products, and got offices in my town too - so I can go and collect things from their office even after a few days after they call.

FK is operating from Bangalore. Still why they are ignoring the nearby state Karala?

AFAIK Amazon has no limits on number of GCs whcih can be clubbed to shop unlike Flipkart's 15 GCs condition.

Why not have a take-away choice as in 'Flipkart OR Amazon' rather than sticking to just one?

...More product options as a buyer + choice in choosing the best deal = Happy Shopping! Smile

I second this. Hate the Flipkart App. Also, the Flipkart vouchers have a lot of limitations like one can't use the vouchers if the order contains products from two to three sellers. It's a very tiring and annoying task to shop via the Flipkart app using vouchers. Whereas shopping via the amazon wallet is simply a breeeeeeze! I wouldn't mind if Amazon went App only any day. No kidding.

The biggest reason I am voting for Amazon is that Amazon has the 'AMAZON FULFILLED' feature which is simply FAB!! Be it any seller, if it's amazon fulfilled you will get free shipping on orders above 400 unlike Flipkart where you can HARDLY shop from sellers other than WS Retail!!

Amazon Fulfilled is somewhat like Flipkart Advantage. And it's not applicable on all the sellers, just like Flipkart Advantage. Just a few sellers who opt for have Amazon fulfilled shipping.

thats what she said...."Be it any seller, if it's amazon fulfilled"...she didnt say all sellers are amazon fulfilled or am i reading wrongInnocent

I never got a single advantage from Flipkart Advantage. Yell
