When I say best post I mean 'the post which satisfied you much', 'the post which got most readers & most comments' etc . I run a team of writers, each with a very different background and perspective. The post I pick did not get the most views or comments, it's just one of personal favourites. The author, Peta Jinnath Andersen, just has a wonderful use of language and ability to express herself.

The post - It's All Hindi To Me - relates to her struggle to learn the language of her father. Despite the fact that Indians account for a quarter of the world's population, she was surprised how difficult it was to find a tutor in the US.

I started blogging very recently. My Storywheel fiction blog came into being in December 2009. I initially thought I will post my short stories there and slowly it gained momentum and transformed into a credo -- to create 100 short stories by December 2010!

In this journey, my best post would be the story titled Last Man Standing

This is my best post to date also due to a special reason. The artwork that you see at the end of the story is from a friend who agreed to let me link her painting which appeared very apt for the story.

Also see the collaborators page.

Do read the story and let me know your reactions.

Best regards, Giri

Hi Shanmujarajan

This one is my favourite and it just came to me one morning. I was mulling over the topic since I saw a couple - like the one in the post - in one street festival in Toronto.

Dear Shanmuharajan,

Ummmmm, am actually not going to answer that question. But am going to follow this string too see the criteria that people use for selecting their post. Is it something that the person felt good when writing, the one that received most comments, the one that suddenly increased teh number of hits, or something else.

Best regards,

Pushkaraj Apte

Nice initiative.......do keep us posted about ur findings....

checking for the relation with number of comments I can understand, but how can a third person check the effect of increase in number of hits?

Dear Pushkaraj, hmmmm... I like your "Spirit of Exploration" to find out 'peoples criteria' in selecting their posts

Haven't got many comments and hits (I had just started blogging at that time)Laughing

Valentine Day Bloopers : The Other Side

"The Other Side" refers to the FEMALE FOLK. As my (actually) first blog post was Valentine Day Bloopers that had "short stories" of BOYS in various situations on V Day.

The best posts would probably be some poetry, or some exhaustingly extensive posts.

However my most readable and funny post would probably be this one :

Nice Stuff.

Well, i am a tech blogger and i write a lot about the core OS stuffs. Recently, i started writing about things which would make sense even for a non-techie user and that has indeed fetched me a lot of respect..

I had once written about a tool, which can be used while giving presentations - This indeed is one of the most fav posts for many..  (including me)
