The reviews have been stopped but people already on the list if still interested can send me a personal message. I will keep my commitment. People who have forgotten their requests - good for you, good for me.

I found Gautam Maitra does not seem to be blogging much these days. So I dropped the review. In case there is a request from him, I will bring it back to the list. Review of Indianomics is up on my blog now.

Here it is

You need to leave your details in the link provided as mentioned in his post. And it will take a long time. As you see, there is a long line of 21 blogs waiting.

Hello TF-  I find nothing wrong in what you have done. You offerred your free services and drew the attention of everybody to your blog post and included the url link. How popular your services are is evident by the number of responses to your post. So far so good. You should continue to review the blogs of those who want you to.

But when I make a post without any links to draw attention to what  am doing a moderator pulls me up for spamming, threatening to delete the entire thread. When I ask him whether he has read my post he says 'no'(how can he? He has to guess first and then look for my post, you see I have not placed any guiding links, like you did)

The point is things are not clear. Why don't we have norms here? Norms are not rules but  are those set of accepted normal behavior that is followed by all and if there is an infringement, it is pointed out politely so that things go back to normal. Totally 'ghar ki baat'

'I fully agree with you. Moderators must immedeately delete such threads.'  was your reply to my post. I'd rather let it be. You have got what you wanted and those who sought your services are happy too. But if TF can get away with a blatant violation why are moderators imagining things in my case, in fact they have deleted my thread while yours continues to flourish and thrive. Is that fair TF?

My father was not a judge, that was said in jest.

Well, udaykumar. That is up to the owner of the forum. I have my own norms. I run a thread where I clearly mention the norms I follow and why I delete threads. But I can't impose my norms on other moderators. Everyone uses his own discretion.

TF Carthick

By the way, when I created this thread, I was a normal member like you and there was no violation. I clearly read the prescribed rules and I had not violated anything though the mods then could still have deleted using discretion.

@DS, Leo, TF - I think this is  self promotion. Does it belong in the forum?, with links to theblog post. This must have triggered a crowd of visitors from indiblogger to the blog of someone who calls himself TF.

If there are rules here, they apply to all, even the mods.

Had this post  been posted without any url links that would have been fair to others. Very clever FOOL !

Today when I made a post about abandoned pups, there were no urls and links to my blog, neither here or at inditalk. I wonder why DS raised a furore. I am confused folks. Pl clarify.

You claim to be the son of a judge. So obviously you know a person can't be judge over his own case. If any of the other moderators want to delete this thread, I am fine with it.

I did not expect that you would publish it anyway but neither did I expect that it would go down as spam. I wrote that not as a comment, it was just for you to read, an unbiased opinion about your personality of what I could have formed about your blog, I was intrigued, and wanted to share what came in my mind. That was about it.

I understand the challenge of the long waiting list. I am a patient man, take your time.

The Fool,

First time here. Seems a bit condescending calling a fellow blogger by that name but read the reason for the same on your blog page, so guess, that would soothe my conscience a little.

I would also appreciate a review for my blog http://www.mbaglue.com/. I think you are already an MBA, so it would be really worth your opinion on this.

Thanx.

TF Carthick

Sure I will. Only challenge is the long waiting list.  Every time I sit down to clear it, more of them come up and list length never seems to reduce. By the way, I think you commented on my post. Seeing the impersonal nature of the comment I mistook it to be a spam and deleted it. Sorry.

Uma - There is a link at the opening post. You have to go there and submit soem details. But no hurries. Give it when the time for your review nears. Even if I pull up my socks and do 6 reviews a month, it will take minimum 4 months to get to you.

Hey TF, great work! when I saw this post bumped up I was wondering what is the happening and jumped in. I see you have made a comment against my name (Indianomics) for more details. What would you need more?

TF Carthick
from Bangalore

I have asked some questions in my blog which need to be answered as comment. It is because I don't believe one shoe fits all approach. So I want to know what the blogger wants to achieve through the blog and from that perspective I try to analyze what could have been done better. And while reviewing I don't want to miss the best posts. So I ask for top 5 from blogger so that I don't miss them while reviewing. In addition I will also check out a few posts randomly on my own befoe I form an opinion.
