This is a shoutout for the person who gave the topic related to Chetan bhagat and Indian authors...do add the topic again. I feel that's a good topic to discuss.

Indispire ka haal behal.. voting fir se down .. there are many topics but no voters !!!!!!  wats the actual problm ..  this should be something more than what we are assuming (less interesting topic etc)   Renie do somehting for indispire .. find a sponsor, conduct a contest.. distribute free gifts 

There are peaks and troughs in every activity... quite possible everyone is busy with some other activity.

I think it is because of the missing gravataars.

Half of the voters don't have profile pics which makes the page look as if no one is voting. So, those visiting the page also don't vote for any topics.

I hardly vote as I alreday described my views .. some topics r boring for me (palle hi nahi padta agla chaahta kya hai ) then there are topics for which I think only one para is enough .. I love political issues and I have written a lot ( at my blog and ofr news websites) .. political analysis, policy reviews etc .. but now m a gov employee so I cnt write watever comes in to my mind I need to be neutral .. but yes I reallyyyyyyy wanna write for the political ideas posted on indispire .. those crying for gaza, worried for communal speechs of leaders, cursing/mocking modi ( no m not a pro BJP something still wud like to say something).. yes I have my views but m bound .. so kya khaak vote karu .. and when last time I voted for some ideas they dint get selected .. ab isme main kya karu .. moreover m hell aalsi to write but yes I did write for a topic which I myself proposed but it dint votes ( it was a short story)

I agree with bhavana but I guess its ok as I tend to agree with Arvind as well.

Since this point made by Anita is lost among many points...I think this point definitely needs attention as my my name is not showing on the previous topics I have given. @Renie please do something about this.

I'm actually waiting to read your post on the topic that you suggested... as I believe, you would tend to have some really unique insights on it.

I think everyone is having insights on this but it is easily ignored. I will try to bring them forward. Just another blogger. Just another post. 

@DVD - Even I was surprised to see my topic being selected for this week as I have given this topic really late, just two days before the closing. 

Anyways I'm happy that my topic again got selected.

Commenting on my post for the first IndiSpire topic of mine that got selected, one Blogger shared that she was waiting for my post as my idea got voted.

I feel those who suggest & vote for topics ought to write for them. 

Exactly , Its the responsibility to write if you have put an Idea and its selected but its not compulsion.

I have been writing for Indispire in a row , because I Vote for them and If they are selected I feel its my responsibility.

Yes, writing for your topic that has been chosen is expected... though it hasn't happened everytime.

Why is it expected? You are not asking the sponsors to write an entry of themselves in the contests right?

Expectations huh...!!! does that end anywhere ? 

I actually saw someone commenting that the person whose topic gets selected should also visit every blogpost that is written on that topic and should also comment on it. 

People have voted for it that why the topic gets selected. If you feel like writing for the topic then write if you don't feel like they don't. The person whose topic gets selected actually gets "babaji ka tullu"  so it is totally his/her own decision to write or comment or visit. 

this time voting is slow on indispire .. either topics are not capable enough to attarct the bloggers or no one has even bothered to visit the indispire page

Anita.. yea right, I mentioned NSV's topic headline in my first ever indispire post "what is in the name" .. even till date his foto is there coz I coiped the text direct frm indispire home page. so it wud be very nice if the idea proposer can get a mention. it will help to increase our blogging network.

That's true Ranjith... but I'm sure some such stats connected to a topic must be visible to us once Indispire goes on to the next topic. Makes the concept so much more meaningful... and will probably help Indispire look far more tech-sound. :)

Is there a way we could know how many of those who suggested a topic that was selected, also wrote on it? If they did write, were they the first to upload? This will surely tell us if the promoter of a topic is here only to give us topics OR to also write on them. There have been instances when the blogger who suggested a topic did not even bother to write on it.

When Ever I posted a Idea or voted for it , I am one of the first one to write for it :P 

Correction - It is not possible to check it manually. For the archived topics, the name of the blogger who suggested the topic is not visible...

DVD .. wat u saying is right in one context ... wat I tried to say is a lil different .. for example .. (widout offense to anyone .. god save me) the prashnkundali topic .. how many of us actually understands the difference between prashnkundali and any other kundali... earlier there was a topic of IRCTC .. many more such toppics I have seen in indispire and most of the time I wonder wat exactly thy r asking or expecting ?????

@BL : if people dont understand the topic they wont vote for it.

and even I dont understand that , but I have to respect what people might have knowledge on.

But yes before posting the ideas people must think that the ideas must be generic as IB involves people from all ages and locations.
