Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu Nepal is an ancient Shiva temple that dates back to the 5th century. The temple finds mention in the Shiva Purana as well as the Skanda Purana. Standing on the banks of the river Bagmati the temple with its many myths and legends exudes a unique aura of mysticism.
