Republic Day was well spent at the historic Hutridurga Hill about 65 kilometers from Bangalore. The fortified hill which has a historical association with Kempegowda and later Tipu Sultan makes for an amazing trek with spectacular views. But the trek organized by India Tourism Bangalore in association with Dharthi NGO and BMC adventures was not just a trek.
