It was a walk of about 2 kilometres that took us approximately 2.5 hours to complete. But we travelled a span of 600 years in the fascinating Ahmedabad Heritage Walk that is also known as Mandir to Masjid walk. The walk starts at the 200-year-old Swaminarayan Temple in Kalupur and culminates at the Jama Masjid. In between, you embark on a fascinating journey through the maze of lanes and alleys that form the famous, "Pols," of the walled city of Ahmedabad.
