Indiblogger has given individual bloggers an option to organise a meet on their own. They support through display, emails etc. Now why not bigger space? Since word restriction is here, I have answered this at Forum Topic "Chennai Blogger Meet"

Well I have talked to the Presidency Club and I think we can fit another 10 people. I have also talked to Karthik from Indiblogger, he will be increasing the seats from 25-35 tonigh. So you still have a chance. Check Forum topic Chennai Blogger Meet.

Yes, could get some space for another 10 seats and out of which already 4 are taken, so if you think there are other passionate bloggers out here in Chennai let them know as the seats are being filled up like a rock concert... :-)

I was told that Indiblogger will invite people for this meet but I guess the seats got filled up fast so there was no need. In fact I had to increase the number of seats from 25 to 35 as there was lot of requests to attend.

There is no cost as its about meeting fellow bloggers... the venue has been booked by a good friend of mine (Who has certain influence in Presidency Club as he is ADGP of TN Police) and rest of the cost of partying is something I am bearing. :-)

Rajkumar it wouldnt be fair to ask Shashi to increase the attendees list when he is arranging the entire meet single-handed and free of cost. why not join the next meet...for hopefully it will become a regular programme in future if we all desire.

@Priya Iyer, I agree, but then surprisingly the first 25 seats got registered within two days.. so there was no need I guess and then we had to increase it to 35 and that got filled up fast too. Please join in if you don't mind cramped up space.

I guess, the emails were not sent out from Indiblogger as the seats got full, within two days, hence there was no need. Further Its an event, organised under the program "Organise An Event" giving a chance to Individual bloggers to organise it.

It was an amazing time at the meet. I loved meeting the gang and enjoyed standup comedy ( by Venkatramvasi) and impromptu quiz (by Sylvian Patrick). Congratulations to the winners & look forward to the result of Best Chennai Blogger from the meet tonight.

Loved the meeting and the interactions. It would have been great if every one registered had joined the meet. I know a few who wanted to come but could not because it said the registrations are over.

I sincerely request bloggers to be responsible and deregister when you are not available for the meeting. it will help others to join. Hats off to Sashi for organising such an event. We are planning to have the "best blog award" every month. Right Sashi?
