Initially I thought we'd have this meeting at a pub, but then Microsoft offered to buy all of us dinner - why would anyone say no to that! So let's all meet up, break the ice, get to know each other, why we blog, how we monetize our blogs, and the role of bloggers in the world today. You can call me at 9880518019 after 6 PM.

Good move. As rightly suggested by Anwin, the priority now must be to break the ice, and get to the know the fellow bloggers from Bangalore. Let's all try to make it at 4 pm sharp.

Interesting .. I would be very interesting in talking to people about blogging for your company or startup .. I have recently started doing it and its been actually helpful .. but I would like to do it even better ... see you all there

I certainly hope to find myself there. Is there any method of identity checking or can people just walk in. It will be interesting to meet fellow blog enthusiasts, would be dissappointing if it turns out to be a gathering of people who came for a free dinner. (I have attended too many of the latter :-)

Is this being held at the Embassy building or Signature building?

Hi...EGL stands for Embassy Golf Links...so this the general area and Signature building is the specific Microsoft building. And we will have the meeting at "Krishna" hall within this building...cheers
