Hotel Dee Cee Manor No.90, GN Chetty Road T Nagar, Chennai - 600 017And..last but most definitely not the least comes the Chennai blogger meet. Its the first time where bloggers from down south will be able to meet, interact, chat, talk, and best of all, blog about it the next day! So for those of you who've been waiting for it, nows your chance to sign up. The date fixed is Sunday, June 8th 2008, so please keep yourselves free and drag along anyone else who's interested in coming!! See you there!

Excellent move. I really appreciate Lemonade for pushing forward with a good dynamic and vibrant initiative of a bloggers meet.
Can we have it as a full day meet like the previous bloggers meets that Chennai was witnessing.

This is beyond depressing, I won't be here!!!! I made a note of this for May 3rd 'cause that was the original notification!
Guys n Girls, May 16th is a concert night [its only Def Lep but still] in Bangalore!! So chances are several Chennaiites will be spending a weekend in B'lore. Can't we reconsider?? Pwease?

Where's rat when you need him?? anyway, do we have a venue yet? why don't y'all rent out Sparky's diner for the evening - if you do it on a friday, maybe he'd do the buffet for the bloggers at a special rate and it's yummy. Let me know if that would be an option and I can ask him.

@Anju - Sparky's sounds good - but does it have wi-fi broadband access?
@Jagannath - I'm not married - I just pushed a few friends over the edge first to see what happens to married people. Seemed quite painful when they smashed into the rocks below. :)
@Aravind - I'm confused! Lemonade is busy on the 24th and 25th, so that's not an option. We cannot prepone thanks to the engineering exams. So it looks like we may have to postpone all the way to the 1st of June! :(

17th-18th weekend - IndiBlogger team is going to Mangalore for a wedding.
24th-25th weekend - Lemonade is out of town.
May 31st-Jun 1st weekend - IPL semis and finals!! (If we have cheerleaders for the meet, will it make a difference?)
Is everyone ok with the 7th of June? :(

@ Renie, why don't you keep it on the 10th of May? It's a Saturday or the 11th of May, which is a Sunday. Do the Engineering Students have an exam on Sunday?
7th of June, No can do. Have classes starting from June 1st. Or Maybe June 8th? But I mostly go with the 11th of May. Look guys, engineering students if you do not have an exam at 4:00p.m on Sunday, the 11th of May, then we can have it at that time. Other than Engineering students, anyone has problems? No? Then why not? Reply ASAP pls

@Varsha - sorry, but the 11th of May is too early, we need time to spread word in the IT companies, get the press involved, sort out the venue, etc.
Guys, we understand the pain of exams and the pleasure of cricket (and the cheerleaders) so this meet has been postponed to the 8th of June.

I stay in Sri NAgar, Saidapet...
If someone stays nearby then i can meet them in this area... and collect it...
otherwise if u can directly come to Great Lakes, Chennai nothing like that...
I m new to Chennai so transport is lil problem...
