Thanks Abhi..!! I checked GPR using an independent service http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php and it gave me a 2/10.. Where as indiblogger.in doesnt cite anyGPR for my page.!!  Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.

@santosh, thats great. Actually, the pageranks were updated fairly recently. your Indirank stats must be showing you the old rank, I think. Anyways thats a good page rank :)

Hello santosh. Try posting more frequently to get a better indirank. For Gpr try getting some backlings to your blogs. Commenting on other blogs also helps in getting a good gpr.

I don't have a rank and I donno how it works too. Can anyone help?

Every quarterly Indirank is update as per my knowledge so got to wait for your first ranking, meanwhile keep posting on Indivine

You should probably get one in the next update Binitha, new blogs sometimes do take time in getting ranks. Indirank is supposed to update every month.

mine was 62 in the beginning, dropped to 55 (coz of exam stress) and now to 49 (coz i left blogging for than a month).....les see how much time does it take me to raise it back to where it started

I have made a kick start with 72 for my 9 months old writings blog and 62 for my most recently started photogrpahy blog! Feel like one of the math marks that my dauhgter cribs about. haha.

Good luck to all of us. Guys, I read  as many blog as possible and have loved all of them, irrespective of my finding time to comment, vote, whatever.

Arthi- you had a good poin there. tell me something. How do we link older posts to the new ones? For eg:- someone syaing you might like this.

Do advice on this dear.

Very good ranks to start with Sushma :) You are doing a wonderful job, keep it up :)

For interlinking you could simply give the links to those related posts using the 'link' feature of the blogspot editor.

Or you could also try the link within widget that does it for you for each post of yours. However, I am not fully sure if this posts that are displayed using this link within method are counted as an interlink as well.

Mine came down from 69 to 66, and to think I thought more people read my blog between the fall! I still don't get what drives this.  Can anyone tell me what these directories are all about?  I saw a Yahoo directory, and it said, I had to pay something to have my blog included there.  

Richa,  Its not only about the traffic but the Indirank also depends on the frequency with which you are putting up your posts. And I think you dont update your blog that often, right? So may be that's the reason for the decrease...Dont worry, just keep blogging :)

And about the directories @hemal has answered it.

yahoo directory is mainly for business men who have very websites and a lot of income.

I do not yet have a Google PR. I hear things like buidling links, submitting site to directories and such and it's all, especially buidling links, Hindi and Sanskrit to me. Hope some wizkid comes along and guides us all.
