Wordpress Image Issue

I know it is not an Indi problem but  Wordpress forums have not been able to give me an answer hence posting here the attention of tech bloggers.

When I upload images in my blog every thing works fine, till I save draft. The moment I hit save draft the images become grey in color with nothing visible. I can not edit them, change captions anything.

All I see is a largish grey box with nothing.

The funny part is when I publish the image they are appearing. Only in the draft they appear grey box kind of thing.

Though it is not a big issue, it is very irritating because at times I want to change caption or location of the image as an afterthought but can not do as  I can not see the image.

Any ideas/help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, worked like charm.

Just updated to 3.7.1.....seems something was wrong with WP 3.7...  I see all the images in both draft as well as when I am logged out.

Will update the thread if there is issue going forward.

Thanks again and wishing you a very Happy Diwali  Laughing

Never heard of something like this, but my advice ask your hosting provider to search for any malicious software or virus that's in your shared folder..

Better advice do a clean install, before doing that backup your data and everything would be fine

Also you could simple upgrade your wordpress, the latest 3.7.1 is out - also it says that it removed 11 bugs from the previous update 3.7, it may be one of those bugs if you have not updated it yet.

Also if you are using cheap/free hosting, immediately switch to better hosting provider..

If you try something tell me about it
