Like the title says, you have to visit the blog of the blogger above yourself (the blogger who has the latest reply) and post one thing you really like about his/her blog.

It can be anything, for example, it may be one particular post

or the template or anything else that you feel is worth mentioning. But please be as specific as possible. I believe this can be a nice way to discover new blogs and bloggers.

Suggestions invited to make this thread better . Lets begin :)

About Be the Geek -

One thing, I like about your blog is the fact that you provide some of the most useful tips and tricks in a most simple and crisp manner which even a nerd like me can understand and apply very easily. Way to go abhi Smile

Back on topic lol....

Abhi, I like the colors and layout of your blog. Any chance you could find/write a "unicode for really stupid ppl" post lol. I swear for some reason I couldn't make it work today when trying to hold "Alt" (the left one) then typing +2606 on the numberpad. I tried MS word and FaceBook and other combinations (like Alt U+2606, Alt u+2606, the right alt key, etc). Nothing remotely close to resembling unicode happened. It just kept tabbing me around the pages.

might be because of registry values, not sure though .

hope this helps :)

thanks Rumbaho.

Firstly, I like the concept brought up by abhi, very well thought. Now Rumbaho, The one thing I like about your blog Rumbaho is the meekness and authority with which you lie, ridicule with full authority. In one word Excellent write-ups
Have I goofed it, did I have to comment on abhi's blog or what
Rumbaho.com

actually, Abhi goofed it. He was supposed to have written something on my blog so that you could write on his. LOL.

I'm still a happy man. Getting praises is always good. Especially when they are about my talest for deception with authority. ;o)

I can't believe that people are letting this thread fade. I am not commenting again since I already have 2 "likes".

But seriously people, what the heck is your aversion to hearing something good about your site?

PLEASE someone comment on Pramod's blog!

Well said, really appreciate it. But, I feel, there are few bloggers who visit this forum regularly. IndiVine has much more activity.

Rumbaho.com

Abhi, I think Indivine is BS. Either that or Google Analytics is BS. Cos Analytics tells me that readers spend an average time of 3 minutes on my site.

Apparently in that time they decided that the posts were good enough and I have received around 15 votes in the last 48 hours. The posts are each long enough that it would take more than 3 minutes to read. So, as far as I am concerned, Indivine votes are pointless.

Now, about the forum, I am seeing much less activity here than I saw when I joined a few months ago. Not sure about the reason.

Firstly, the name Rumbaho is interesting. Same with the posts. They are crisp, interesting and strike a chord somewhere in my mind.

On Rumbaho's request to comment on Pramodji's blog, it is simple writing that I can connect with. Also, the experience shows in his writing and makes it a worthwhile read.

Thanks Rumbaho I just read your take on my blogging. I am a small learner in the field, learning and learning. I really appreciate your benevolent submission. Thanks a tonn.

Arre Pramod, why all the humility man? I just gave my feedback. I doubt if I am anywhere as knowledgeable on blogging as you. But I gave what I thought was honest feedback, thats all.

thanks rumbaho.

Thanks pooja Ji , for nice comments, i was really baffled to read your saga on mom, such a brilliant piece. Bravo, It happens with me and most is penning down, what to omit and what to stress upon. Talent surely shines like a diamond, wherever one puts it. Cheers

Animesh,

I like that you accepted responsibility for one of your posts and let your readers know that you believe you were wrong in your initial assessment of the situation.

My statement above does now imply an agreement of disagreement with your opinions. I am simply saying that that I appreciate that you could come out and say that you were wrong (or ill-informed). It take some courage to say that.

darn typos...

*My statement above does NOT imply ANY agreement OR disagreement with your opinions....

Right Rumbaho , this is a free world and opinions differ from head to head. And like seven blind people description of elephant. It's when one bow's down, it accelerates the halo within. One that is flexible doesn't break.

Yes, absolutely, Pramod.

I had to look up that blind men and elephant story cos I didn't remember it. Good example there. :o)

Thanks Rumba. I think this is how we should be always, in reel (read blog) life and real life. If there has been a mistake, its always better to accept it rather than delegating responsibilities or defend it.
