I am blogging in blogger.com and whenever I open my blog, a notepad file named 'debug' is created on the desktop. Can somebody tell me why?

That's an odd problem! What browser do you use?

It's a problem with an ActiveX plugin you installed recently... Do you use iGoogle? Or did Google ask you to install an ActiveX plugin recently?

Either way, with Firefox you won't have this problem! Smile

I got a reply on google search. An employee of Google has replied as below:

Hi all, Thanks for your reports. This is related to a recent change in the voice and video chat plug-in and was not intended. We're working on a solution so that this does not happen. I can appreciate the frustration it causes. Unfortunately, I don't have a workaround at the moment other than uninstalling the plug-in. My recommendation would be to ignore the file until we've got a fix in place. Thanks for hanging in there! Cody
