any ideas to use sea shells for crafts

I need a idea to create a craft with the sea shells i have collected from different beaches. Please advice and suggest.

Hi ther :)i had been to gujrat recently and most of the decorative items i saw were:1. Wall hangings2. Key chains3. Show pieces(assembling the shells into a shape)4. Add to aquarium as bas Hope this helps :)Meow!

That must be quite some collection Sreeja, what color are they -- all white?

I have one show piece with me of this kind - the framing is made up of sea shells and in it sits a cute teddy bear. It was gifted to me lonnnng back and I've treasured it till date. Smile

I have mirror decorated with sea shells. I have also seen Agarbatti (Incense stick) stand during my visit to Puri(Orissa). Even you can use it for decorating gifts . Hope this will help. Regards.Smile

If the shells are small you can make jewelery with them (necklaces, anklets or bracelets) adding some beads or pearls in between. You can also try making windchimes with them :)
