Vipul..please give the topic..some two days before the day we have to write on it..because I am not a good writer like you and others in indiblogger to write instantly. For any topic i will take it as a challange, but i just wanted that we should have limited topics to choose from so i didnt suggest any topic .

I will say try to choose a topic which will help create or send social message across globe or India.

Topics like

  • Female Reservation
  • dowary death
  • what you will do if you see accident on the road
  • Do you fear police if yes why
  • If you have to choose between Indian or religion what you will choose 
  • Please choose a topic which will send a social message sometype of awareness 
  • do not choose fun topics like cricket or marriage on tv useles topics .

Hey SM, as the First Blogathon, i prsnly feel topic shud be  highly neutral nd relevant, one related 2 blogging is wat cums 2 my mind..

we all cn share our blogging xperiences or watevr.

Once it is established in future blogathons we cn tak up social issues nd othr stuff.

Just imagine

100 bloggers or 10 bloggers in the begining writing there thoughts on one topic.

I will suggest  the Indi team please  pay attention to this and start a monthly topic competition on one topic where all six thousand indibloggers will write on one topic and winner will get reward .

2 make  the indibloggers rate each post etc if reward is not cash then also ok

Great idea Vipul.I am in.

As many of us are blogging for money, I think our topic shouls start with INCREASING KNOWLEDGE ON FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

Making money out of blogs. I suggest these topics because if everyone say let 10 or 20 bloggers work on it and publish thier ideas about making money, we would explore ourselves to different ideas for making money.

Welcome aboard Sandeep. making money is a good idea but i blive most of the bloggers who hav hopped on, including me hav not takn up blogging seriously for money till now.. obviously cant talk about future. So most of us won't be able to suggest anything concrete. So lets keep this topic 4 those who r into it, i.e. pros and not rookies like me and sum othr out here!

I suggest we call this initiative Blog-A-Ton 'coz Blogathon is much too common.

Also we could initiate a blog and around 10-20 of us could become founding members, rest of the people can be given limited access to the blog and thus can post their opinions.

Good idea. But a word of caution: I believe backlinks are now looked down upon by Google. Could the SEO gurus on this forum confirm this?

If what I have heard is tru, perhaps a better way would be to link to a post within the text.

Hi there Mr. Vipul, saw the blog and I must say that it's a step in the right direction. Thank you for considering my suggestion regarding the name.

Also I was glad to see my name on the Blog-A-Ton Team but does that mean I will be able to acces the blog itself, if that is correct then I must say that I don't know why but I am not able to access it, please explain how I should do so.

Also I have had the idea of starting the Mumbai Chapter of this initiative I have done some initial developments in the direction but will launch it to the Mumbai Junta only if I have your permission Mr. Vipul.

I assure you that if launched, there will be no clash of topics (or of any other kind) between these two initiatives.

Moreover members of the Mumbai chapter of the initiative can freely become members of the mothership that is THE Blog-A-Ton (with permission of the Blog-A-Ton team).
