How do I go about changing the earlier blog address to a new domain.
Should I just drop an email top Indiblogger about the change in domain?
Will I have to register it as a new blog now?
Also, how do you go about changing it at various places and does it affect your SEO in a good way or bad?

If you are changing your blog domain then yes for google it will be a complete new site. You'll have to setup permanent redirects (301) to your old pages. You need to configure google webmasters tool to add new site and set it as preferred site.
Thanks Deepak. I have already transferred the same from google. So that is not the issue. The issue is to get the domain changed on indiblogger. I have already raised a ticket with indiblogger but have not heard from them.
Oh, Got it.
