I think a good template is essential. However, it cannot replace good content. First and foremost, you need to ensure that you're writing good quality stuff on your blog. :)
Yes. I do agree a template is very important. A blog should be visually appealing too. I'm still searching for a good template for my blog. Hope I can find one soon.
templates are usually very important as first impression to your first time visitors ...
A good template is a crowd puller and feeders depends on the content of your blog ... Your blog has a good template although the one I chose for you in the first place was a better choice ;) ...
hey thnx dude !! nice to see ur comment......
Template makes a difference even if you are a great blogger! Try reading an all black green font blog!!
yes I do agree that templates do matter!! even if one goes with the content, at first the appearance is what counts!!
Cheers!!
Templates does matter a lot. Sometimes , I close a blog much before reading the content if i find the template layout bad.
Personally , I like minimalistic clean template. If you are a blogger who writes more of a casual and personal rants , jazzy , glitzy templates can be fine.
Yes..A good template is very important..We say first impression is best impression... So when someone looks our blog for the first time it should be inviting to read... Looks are always important..... http://ballat.blogspot.com
a simple but elegant and not-so-heavy or "jingbang" website, with good content is the key!
Blog template is one of the most important aspects of a good blog. It shows how neat the person is. It depicts his clearity of thoughts and presentation skills.
Many of the popular bloggers have their sites cluttered with badges, and ads, and that many widgets. I have even wondered how they get so popular. Maybe its the content that matters more than the design.
I myself keeps changing the theme very often. Nowadays I am tired of it that I have kept the Journalist theme. I find it dull and colorless but it serves the purpose.
Maybe its just like mentality of people. Well-behaved ordinary people are more liked than misbehaved good looking people!

Hey I am a newbie here...My blog:http://www.hitaishi9.blogspot.com/
I think a blog template doesnot matter. Its the content that matters..If you have a good template that may attract a few people but over a period of time they will get bored reading the not so impressive posts.
So one should not waste hours searching for attractive templates, rather one should make sure that his posts are impressive.
