hey guys,
i want to upgrade my theme from a one column to a two column theme. How can i do so without disturbing my widgets? Im under the impression that changing a theme will remove all widgets. If true then how do i go about doing it?

Since you are using google blogger; you are right about losing the widgets. What I would suggest is take a manual back up of all the widgets onto a notepad file.
Once you are done with putting the new theme, copy paste them back. thats the only way to go about doing it.
both of you are absolutely right! - Changing a theme/template does cause issues to the widgets you have! -
So the best idea should be to take a backup of all the codes and then look for the template change. (Backup not only the widgets, but also the Header configurations, analytics, etc etc..)
There are tons of templates available online.. Just Google it and you get huge list to download and try!
